Rob, a former Japanese man reincarnated into another world, spent fifteen years of his life defeating the Demon King. Afterward, he lived out the rest of his days in happiness.

...Or so the story should have gone, but the world apparently doesn't work that way.
Rob did indeed defeat the Demon King. In the aftermath, he was granted a small pension and permitted to retire in seclusion on the frontier.
However, when the King passed away two years later, the pension stopped. Worse yet, Rob found himself a wanted man for crimes he didn't commit.
He headed secretly to the Royal Capital to uncover the truth, but the reality was unshakeable. He was left with nothing but the bittersweet pity of his former comrades-in-arms.
It was then that a small woman appeared before him.

His powers as a Hero were deteriorating, his skills were unsuited for anything else, and the woman’s offer sounded incredibly suspicious.
