After getting engaged to Felicia, Silas started visiting his father more often.
Even the day before the Ashfield family party, he had come to his father to consult about something.
It might be that he visits his father more often than he goes on dates with Felicia.
I ran into Silas coming out of the study, and when I jokingly said that, Silas turned bright red and spat out, "I have important business!".
"Stop interfering when you don't know anything."

Maisie comes almost every day.

"Because you don't have a date with Felicia tomorrow, right? I was just wondering what you were going to do..."
Silas didn't seem to have thought about anything in particular, but he seemed to remember the party and became slightly displeased.
He turned to Felicia and said with a sigh.
"So, Felicia, you're going to Bernie's party after all."
"It was decided a long time ago. Besides, Father asked me to."
"The Marquis Airheart...? Then, I guess it can't be helped..."
I'd go even if that weren't the case.
I thought in my mind, but I kept it to myself for now.
Bernie isn't the kind of person Silas makes him out to be, but he's an unpleasant opponent for Silas right now.
The day will come when he understands Bernie's character, so until then, I won't lie, but I didn't think it was necessary to say anything that would make him uncomfortable.
Felicia tried to consider Silas's feelings in her own way.

"Felicia... you should think about Silas's feelings a little..."
Maisie said in a reproachful tone.
And, "I'm definitely not going," she said, glaring at Felicia challengingly.
No, you're not going or anything, you weren't invited, were you.
I repeat what I thought during our last date in my head.
Or rather, even after that, Maisie asked Felicia at least three times if she could somehow get invited to the Ashfield family party.
I told her it was impossible because it was a party related to my father's work, and I made her give up.
But, what on earth is she thinking?
