Having finished the potions earlier than planned, I was about to be taught a new alchemy skill by Lord Clein.
However, I couldn't accept my extremely unfashionable attire.
「Are these large safety goggles, mask, and apron truly necessary?」
Generally, any clean clothing is acceptable for an alchemist. Since getting dirty is the individual's responsibility, no one had ever said anything about it before. Yet, the moment we were about to practice the Formation skill, I was forced into full protective gear to prevent getting dirty.

As Lord Clein instructed, I placed the Magic Ore in the center of the magic circle and tried channeling mana. The magic circle activated, and I was enveloped in a strange sensation, like my body was floating in mid-air.
「Wow, that’s a strong sense of discomfort. It's similar to the motion sickness I felt in a carriage when I was little.」
「The Formation field activated by the magic circle is solely for grasping the sensation. As it forces the Formation field to deploy by synchronizing the magic circle’s mana with your own, you may experience uncomfortable symptoms.」
「If I don't master the Formation skill quickly, this will continue. What a terrifying method of training.」
「If you feel that way, start practicing quickly. If you channel a little more mana, you should be able to process the Magic Ore. It should be easier to deform than you think.」
I gripped the hard Magic Ore and squeezed hard, but nothing happened. However, as I gradually channeled mana into it, it suddenly crumpled like soft clay, losing its shape.

「I told you that the magic circle is only for grasping the sensation. You can only change it into simple shapes, and it can’t be used with high-rank materials. If there's something you want to make, you need to master the skill quickly.」
Saying that, Lord Clein took a piece of Magic Ore in his hand and deployed the Formation field. He manipulated the Magic Ore freely, easily changing it into a different shape.

「It’s a penguin.」
「It’s not my specialty, but something like this is easy to make. You should make an ornament first, not an accessory.」
When the penguin was placed on the desk with a soft coton, it was so realistic and exquisitely made that it looked as if it could move at any moment.

For now, I'll make creating a penguin my primary goal. I want to place a penguin I made next to the one Lord Clein created.
「May I have this penguin?」
「I don't mind, but it can only be used as a simple ornament.」
「I feel like I'll be able to try harder if I have a goal nearby.」
「...The condition is that you do not carry it outside the workshop.」
「Understood.」
Looking at the still-embarrassed Lord Clein, I thought:
He probably figured that showing a cute ornament would motivate a woman, and that's why he created it.
Although he has a strict side, there's no doubt he is a very kind person.
