Sorry bout this. I completely miss posting this chapter before the start of chapter 4 part 1.
After you read this chapter you will be back at chapter 4 part 2.

*****

The daughter of Viscount Rishua possessed memories of her previous life.

She had lived in Japan on Earth, but she had been extremely frail. She likely passed away from a sudden change in her condition and was reincarnated into the world of *Everyone is in Love with You!* (commonly known as *Min-Koi*), a game she had been obsessed with before her death.

One day, when she was four years old, she received a massive shock upon realizing two things: Magnolia Gilmore, the second villainess, did not exist, and the black-hearted Prime Minister Jeralt—her favorite character—had not become the Prime Minister.

For a while, she couldn't focus on anything, causing her parents and the maids who looked after her a great deal of worry.

However...

Regarding Magnolia's absence, she found the situation highly suspicious. She suspected that the girl wasn't actually gone, but was being raised in secret, hidden away from the public eye.

This was because of the numerous "new things" currently coming out of the Azenda Margraviate. She suspected that Magnolia was involved in their birth and production.

The Azenda Margraviate was a territory on the western edge of the kingdom, ruled by Servas, the father of her beloved Jeralt—the man known as the "Demon General."

Jeralt’s father, Servas, was a man who had turned down the title of Duke to become a Margrave to protect Azenda. He did this both because he feared the Gilmore family becoming too powerful and because of his desire to one day return Azenda to its original rulers.

Magnolia had not made her debut at age four as scheduled, and her presence was nowhere to be found, but Rishua suspected she had been placed in her grandfather's care.

The products currently spreading throughout the land were things that seemed like they could have originated in a European-style country, but Rishua felt it was unnatural for them to appear simultaneously in the same place and during the same period (all within the last year or so).

It was more natural to assume that someone who *knew* these products would be *well-received* by the people was using their *knowledge* to create them.

After all, no such episodes appeared in *Min-Koi*.

Yes, she was a hardcore, genuine *Min-Koi* otaku.

Take "Sauerkraut" and "Paprika Pickles," for example.

She remembered reading in a trivia book in her previous life that sauerkraut had become popular during Earth’s Age of Discovery because it was good for preventing scurvy.

According to that book, scurvy was caused by a Vitamin C deficiency. She didn't know if paprika pickles were high in Vitamin C, but she assumed the creator knew they had the same effect as sauerkraut.

Otherwise, she couldn't understand why they would be released by the same trading company at the same time. In fact, her father, the Viscount, mentioned that they were being sold with that exact explanation.

Apparently, using those items had successfully led to a rapid decrease in scurvy—known here as "Voyage Disease."

No one in this world should know about vitamins. She believed the creator must have knowledge from the future or another world.

Claude, Jeralt’s foster brother and the candidate for the next Margrave of Azenda, was considered a genius. Her father, Viscount Rishua, suggested that Claude was likely the one coming up with and selling these things... but could that really be the case? She remained skeptical.

Then there were the "Dress Pouches" and "Patchwork."

These fabric accessories were currently an unprecedented trend in the royal capital—no, in the entire Kingdom of Ascald.

The Dress Pouch was, as the name suggested, a drawstring bag shaped like a dress. They came in many shapes and colors, and one could even have them made to match their own gowns. They were adorable and particularly popular with young girls. They could only be purchased at the Campbell Trading Company in the capital.

Because of the boom, the Viscount had bought one for his daughter as a gift, so she naturally owned one as well.

When she first held it, she thought it looked familiar. It reminded her of the dress-shaped hand towels she had used in Japan—the very fancy, pastel-colored towels decorated with frills and ribbons.

(I remember them because they were always in the bathroom at my grandmother’s house.)

And then there was the patchwork.

When she thought of patchwork, images of Hawaiian quilts with motifs like turtles, dolphins, monstera leaves, and palm trees, or American country goods featuring red checkers came to mind. While she couldn't say for sure since it might have been common in Europe too, the fact that it was being launched from the same place as the other items felt extremely fishy. Apparently, they were doing a trial sale in the capital ahead of other locations.

The designs used muted or monochromatic colors and simple combinations, giving off a vibe of "trendy accessories" or "Scandinavian style."

(Would Claude—the master swordsman known as the 'Black Lion of Azenda'—really come up with such girlish(?) items?)

As for Servas, Rishua probably wasn't the only one who didn't even want to *imagine* him thinking of such things.

Was there a brain behind them? Did a servant come up with it? Did they have a merchant under their wing create them?

If that were the case, wouldn't there have been similar episodes in *Min-Koi*?

(Though if someone told me it was omitted because it didn't relate to the main story, I wouldn't be able to say anything.)

Furthermore, while it wasn't considered very important in the Kingdom of Ascald—which grew plenty of crops thanks to the Divine Protection—the sale of fertilizer abroad was apparently bringing in significant profits.

There were also rumors of various other territorial reforms progressing, though details hadn't spread far yet.

For one reason or another... for some reason, only the Gilmore family showed a deviation from the world of *Min-Koi* as she knew it.

Why the deviation?

It was being deviated intentionally—someone who should exist but for some reason didn't was hiding by their own will and *deliberately changing reality* (probably).

Yes, for example.

It made the most sense to think that Magnolia was acting to avoid the "Confinement in a Monastery" ending.

(If I was reincarnated, it wouldn't be strange if the heroine or the villainess was reincarnated too.)

In fact, there were many light novels with that kind of plot.

The fact that this was being developed as a business meant that her Earth self must have been someone with that kind of knowledge... Yes, for example, she might have been a young CEO of a major corporation. There was surely a story about a protagonist like that being reincarnated in another world. Not *Min-Koi*, but something else.

Or, if she was knowledgeable about voyage disease, maybe she was a medical professional? A brilliant genius doctor? Or perhaps a nutritionist knowledgeable about food? A food coordinator? A charismatic genius chef? Or a genius designer leading the fashion world?

(She must have been so disappointed to be reincarnated into the world of her favorite game as a villainess. And Magnolia, of all people. If it were Gardenia, at least...)

Was her goal to avoid the confinement ending? Or was she aiming to "Zamaa" the heroine and take her place? Or perhaps...

She thought about it in many ways. Quite many ways.

Yes, she was a fourteen-year-old (at heart) given to daydreaming. Physically, she was six. She was a girl who originally loved the otome game *Min-Koi* and adored stories and worlds like those in light novels.

She had completely misunderstood Magnolia and built up a grand image of her. Her delusions were in full throttle.

In reality, young CEOs of major corporations (the "young" Rishua imagined as a middle schooler was someone in their teens or early twenties) barely exist. In fact, young COOs (Chief Operating Officers) of large companies are likely non-existent.

Brilliant genius doctors, charismatic genius chefs, and genius designers aren't just lying around everywhere, either. And even if they were, such people wouldn't conveniently reincarnate into another world at the drop of a hat.

Furthermore, even if such a person existed and reincarnated... they would have been so busy with work that they likely wouldn't have had the time to play an otome game enough to be obsessed with it. Probably.

It was true that the past of Magnolia, a fellow reincarnator, was shrouded in mystery. However, she was likely neither a young CEO nor a brilliant genius doctor, charismatic chef, or genius designer. She was a person with a personality that didn't feel even a fraction of that precision—if anything, she was quite a rough and broad-minded character.

Additionally, she wasn't "young" in the sense that the Viscount’s daughter defined it...

(Though in general society, at Magnolia's age, she would certainly still be counted as "young" for that position.)

---

「Wow, the Azenda Margraviate was something else!」

The Viscount Rishua family were nouveau riche nobles who had climbed the ranks through business. Hearing that the Azenda Margraviate was currently the place to be, the Viscount had returned from a solo inspection and was recounting his experience with some excitement. It wasn't clear exactly *how* it was amazing, but it was clear that the inspection had been very meaningful.

At their first family dinner in a long time, the Viscount’s daughter was leaning forward, listening intently.

「Father, so, was Magnolia-sama at the Azenda Margraviate?」

The Viscount lowered his eyebrows apologetically toward his eager daughter.

「Well, no matter who I asked, they said they didn't know her...」

「What!」

At his daughter’s voice—half-reproachful, half-scream—the Viscount looked even more troubled.

「They told me to check with the Margrave’s house if I wanted to confirm, but I could hardly inquire with a Margrave’s family—who are busy with border defense, territorial administration, and business—to confirm someone whose existence is uncertain...」

「That's...」

He was right.

The other party was a great noble equivalent to a Duke. Furthermore, they were busy—beyond busy, incredibly busy. It was a shame for his daughter, but there was no way a low-ranking noble of a nouveau riche family with no prior acquaintance could make such a strange inquiry.

「But you know, the food was delicious. Apparently, they were new foods of the Azenda Margraviate. There was bread with something called 'Tuna Mayo' sandwiched in it, and 'Udon,' which were long, thin foods in a soup made from fish broth. And then...」

「Tuna Mayo?! Udon!!」

(Udon, as in *the* Udon? Fish broth...?! What is that? I waaaaant to eat it so bad!!)

She had been reincarnated for six years. She was starving for Japanese food.

(Magnolia... is she Japanese?! Is she Japanese? Is there Japanese food??)

Wait! Someone! An answer!! Answer, pleaaaaase!!!!

「W-What’s wrong?!」

「Are you okay?!」

Viscount Rishua and his wife watched their daughter with concern as she froze with her eyes wide open after hearing the product names.

The couple was very worried about their daughter, who acted a little strange whenever it came to the Gilmore family.

(I hope she doesn't do something odd in high society someday...)

********

Around that time, Magnolia found what she was looking for in the medicinal herb garden she had completely forgotten about.

「Jackpot! Jackpot!! Yoooossshhaaaa」

She shouted.

Servas and Claude, thinking an intruder had appeared, dashed into the garden with expressions so grim they could have killed with a glance.

...It goes without saying that Claude gave her a thorough scolding afterward.

There were about two years left until the mob noble lady, the daughter of Viscount Rishua, would encounter the other reincarnator, Magnolia.
